Meet the owner Amy!
Hi! My name is Amy Edgerton and I am the owner, designer and creator of a.edge designs. My love of jewelry began at an early age where I would spend hours playing in my grandmother's jewelry box searching for the most unique piece I could find!
I grew up, went to college and followed my dream to become an Occupational Therapist. As time went on, I eventually married my husband Ian and had my two amazing children Kate and Henry. I was still working full time as an OT, but felt led to work less so I could be more present for my family.
After decreasing my work hours, we had to really tighten our family budget. I would see trending jewelry pieces that I loved, but knew I couldn't buy. Instead, I started researching how I could make them on my own. I started slowly with just a few pieces and soon realized that I loved the process of designing and creating not just for me, but also for my family and friends!
In 2018, with no business or marketing experience, I decided to take the leap and turn my hobby into a real business. That is when a.edge designs was officially born! It is truly of story of following your heart, stepping out of your comfort zone and not being afraid to try something new!
My hope is that I will continue learning, growing and creating so I can continue bringing you new a.edge designs for years to come!
